Isabella Sofia De Gregorio (she/her)

Founder and Lead Consultant

Brussels-based strategist, organisational leader and social impact consultant with 8+ years of international experience supporting purpose-driven organisations and politicians across Europe.

She founded Impacta to help ambitious teams turn strong missions and ideas into clear strategies, sustainable partnerships and tangible outcomes. Her expertise spans organisational development, strategic communications, advocacy, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, event design and the development of international projects and campaigns.

Alongside Impacta, Isabella is the Founder, President and Director of Eduxo.eu – European Network for Democracy and Equality, where she has built and led a European community of more than 100 volunteers in 4 continents working on democracy, gender equality, youth participation and human rights.

Throughout her career, she has collaborated with EU institutions, international organisations, embassies, civil society networks and mission-driven businesses. Born in Chile, raised in Italy and based in Brussels, Isabella brings a deeply international perspective to every collaboration.

Her approach combines strategic thinking with practical implementation, helping organisations move beyond good intentions and build the structures, relationships and communications needed to create lasting impact.

She holds a Degree in Diplomatic and International Affairs (University of Bologna, Free University of Brussels) and a Master in Project Management.

Claudia Andrea Lobos (she/her)

Senior Communications, Stakeholder Relations & Procurement Consultant

Bologna-based multilingual senior professional with +20 years of international experience across strategic communications, public relations, stakeholder engagement, corporate events, procurement and international supplier management.

She brings a rare combination of communications expertise and operational business experience, enabling her to support organisations not only in shaping clear messages and strong relationships, but also in improving internal coordination, negotiation processes and the effective use of resources. Her work spans the automotive, industrial, agricultural, medical, technology and communications sectors.

Throughout her career, Claudia has held senior roles at Lamborghini, CNH Industrial, Caterpillar, Fondmetal Technologies and J. Walter Thompson.

Originally from Chile and based in Italy since 2004, Claudia brings a deeply international and cross-cultural perspective to every collaboration.

Her approach combines strategic thinking, pragmatism and strong interpersonal skills. She is particularly skilled at navigating complex environments, aligning diverse stakeholders and transforming organisational challenges into structured, practical and results-oriented solutions.

She holds a Master’s degree in Journalism and Social Communication from the Andres Bello University (Santiago, Chile).

Pietro Adorni (he/him)

EU Project Designer

Genoa-based and Brussels-based Project Designer, specialising in the development and management of EU-funded initiatives. He has hands-on experience across the full project cycle, including identifying funding opportunities, developing project concepts, drafting applications, coordinating activities and teams, managing grants, and supporting financial reporting. His work has focused particularly on European programmes such as Horizon, Erasmus+ and CERV.

With an academic background in economics, public policy analysis and data analysis, Pietro brings a strong analytical perspective to project development. He works to translate complex social, institutional and organisational challenges into structured, evidence-based and achievable project proposals. His approach combines policy understanding, strategic planning and attention to implementation, ensuring that project ideas are aligned with both funding requirements and the real needs of partners, stakeholders and target communities.

Pietro has contributed to projects and initiatives related to youth participation, active citizenship, digital education, healthcare, democratic engagement, civil rights and environmental sustainability.

Pietro supports organisations, networks and mission-driven businesses in identifying suitable funding opportunities, developing strong project concepts, building effective consortia and preparing coherent and competitive proposals.

Business Development Intern

📍Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
📆Duration: 4-6 months (from September/October, negotiable).

We are a Brussels-based consultancy helping purpose-driven organisations, NGOs, associations, EU-funded projects, and socially responsible companies strengthen their impact. We work at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and sustainability, supporting organisations that want to grow, secure funding, build partnerships, organise and deliver meaningful change.

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Intern who is excited about helping us identify new opportunities and contribute directly to our growth. You will work closely with the Founder and gain hands-on experience in consultancy, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and client acquisition. You will actively contribute to shaping the business and identifying new opportunities across Europe.

Key responsibilities
🔍Conduct market research & Identify potential clients, partners, and collaboration opportunities.
🇪🇺Research EU funding programmes, tenders, and grant opportunities.
📣Support Communications efforts on social media and client outreach strategies
💻Prepare client briefings and background research, support the preparation of concept notes, proposals and offers
✨Depending on your interests and skills, you may also support EU project development, event management, and more.

We are looking for someone who is curious and eager to learn, entrepreneurial, proactive, organised, with attention to detail and passionate about social impact and EU affairs.

Requirements
🎓Eligible for a curricular internship or Erasmus+ traineeship
🇬🇧Fluent English, Knowledge of French, Italian, or Spanish is considered an asset
💻Good command of Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Canva, WordPress, or AI productivity tools is a plus
✨Strong communicator with excellent writing skills

You will work directly with the Founder and be involved in real consultancy projects from day one, gaining practical experience that is difficult to obtain in larger organisations. You will have the opportunity to attend selected networking events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings in Brussels whenever relevant.

What we offer
* A full time internship of 37.5 hours per week. With Flexi-time & hybrid working
* 7 days of leave for 4 months internship, 10 days of leave for 6 months internship.
